Julie Hershberg, PT, DPT, NCS

Co-Leading the FND Weekend Course at Kentucky & re+active
Julie Hershberg is an FND fanatic. She has been learning and practicing in functional neurological disorders for the last over a decade and has taught extensively to clinicians including multiple presentations and courses at CSM and posters at the Functional Neurological Disorders Society.  
Julie has practiced in all settings in the neuro world including acute, inpatient rehab, home health, clinical research, community re-integration, tele-health and outpatient private practice. She started the only neurology-based fellowship program in the world, the Schmidt Movement Disorders Fellowship. She mentors PTs internationally in their clinical growth and is a faculty member at USC. In addition, she started and runs re+active physical therapy & wellness. She was honored with the 2019 Award for Clinical Excellence in Neurology by the ANPT and has received several teaching awards from USC.

Naoya Ogura, OTD, OTR/L

Co-Leading the FND Weekend Course at Kentucky & re+active
Dr. Naoya Ogura is a neurologic OT with a passion for lifestyle interventions in chronic disease. He is the clinic director at re+active West LA and the director of the pain program. His expertise lies in sleep, diet, stress management and mindfulness. He has taught continuing education courses for therapists on the topic of lifestyle management and mindfulness as an intervention, as well as led patient group education courses on the topics of lifestyle management, stress management, and sleep.

Chelsea Richardson, PT, DPT, NCS

Assisting at the re+active Course Location
Chelsea is a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist physical therapist, clinic director and functional neurological disorders program director at  re+active therapy and wellness in Torrance, CA.  She completed her doctoral studies at University of Southern California in 2016. She has a passion for working with complex movement disorders and completed the Schmidt Movement Disorders Fellowship in 2017. She continues to mentor physical therapists and doctor of physical therapy students in the area of movement disorders as the current director of the Schmidt Movement Disorders Fellowship. She has presented to international audiences online and in person on the assessment and treatment of FND through re+active education, the APTA and the CPTA.
